Story Sharer here after about a year of absence! Today I come to talk to y'all who for some reason still check this blog about my newest book I'm writing! It's kind of based off the Mother-Daughter Book Club series. If you wish to learn more about that book, read it up on LKK's blog, the Writing Craze. Here's the summary:
Piper dreams of becoming a soccer champ, Kellie just wishes her mom would pay attention to her, Mikayla hides her personality, and Gillian is scared of change. The four's last thoughts are to spend a whole minute together, let alone a whole summer. When a certain genius English teacher decides to match them up, the least they could expect is disaster. But with the help of four very different twenty year olds, they all learn that sometimes different is what actually makes you stronger.
So far, I'm on chapter 5, getting close to starting chapter 6. I really like this story, mostly because almost all the main characters are real people that I know. Even I'm in this story! The kids are my sweet toddlers from the summer day care, and I'm really excited to play with their future just a little bit and see how it turns out.

Sound Effects Part 5
Selene was speechless as the beautiful girl who she had slammed the locker of that very morning plopped down beside her.
"Hey, can I sit here?" the girl asked, obviously oblivious to the many pairs of eyes staring at her.
Selene couldn't say a word, but her eyes must have said something, because the girl smiled and looked like she wasn't going anywhere.
"Hey, Makenzy! Don't sit with her!! Come sit with us!" she heard Mason Kent call from the opposite side of the room.
The girl, whom she was guessing was Makenzy, looked up at Mason, and looked back at her.
Selene's eyes quickly flashed to her lunch, avoiding eye contact.
Selene could tell all the pressure was on Makenzy; the whole cafeteria was watching her for her next move.

Book of The Month
It's always trouble to pick a title out of the 1,000 story library of the world, but sometimes you have to anyways. This month I chose the book, "Showoff" by Gordon Korman.
This book is actually the most recent of the series written staring "The Man With The Plan," Griffin Bing and his top-notch team consisting of the narcoleptic Ben, dog-whisperer Savannah, the shy technology wizard Melissa, climber Pitch, and actor Logan. Griffin is known for his crazy, out of the world plans from book 1, "Swindle."
Summary:
Griffin Bing and his friends are back - and this time, things have gone to the dogs!
After former attack dog Luthor goes berserk at a dog show, he's accused of ruining the career of the three-time national champion. Make It in America by Story Sharer

I review the lyrics, over and over, still not believing my fate. Who knew a song by that TV brat, "Victoria Justice," could change my life forever?

Recommended Book of The Week
This week's book is called, "Little Blog on the Prairie,"by Cathleen Davitt Bell.
Summary:
Thirteen-year-old Genevieve, or Gen, Welsh has no idea what her family is getting in to when they spend the summer at Camp Frontier in Wyoming. Gen, her parents, and her younger brother, Gavin, relenquish all their electronics, toiletries, clothing, and all other modern conveniences to live in a small cabin designed to reflect frontier life in 1890. Three other families live near them, doing the same thing, along with the camp owners and their teenage daughter, Nora. But as Gen learns to churn butter and milk a cow, she also sends texts to her friends back home on the new cell phone her parents promised her if she gives Camp Frontier a chance. One friend turns her texts into a popular blog, and the modern world meets 1890 in surprising, hilarious ways.
